Resetting the Service Light on a Mercedes CLA

After changing the engine oil on your Mercedes CLA, you need to reset the control system that alerts you with a reminder on the instrument panel about the need for service. Sit in the driver's seat, press the start button to turn on the instrumentation, and ensure the odometer is displayed on the central screen; if not, select it. Press and hold the "phone answer" and "ok" buttons on the steering wheel until a menu appears where you will confirm the "assyst plus" option. Confirm the "full service" option with "ok", scroll down, and press "ok" on "confirm full service". Select the type of oil and respond "yes" to the reset request, then confirm.
