How to Replace the Key Battery in a Mercedes

Removing and replacing the battery in a Mercedes key follows the same procedure used for many other car keys. To remove the battery from the key, first, take out the metal key located inside the remote. To do this, simply press the lever on the top of the remote. Using the key part, insert it into the remote and press the small button that will open the cover where the battery is located. Remove the old battery and insert the new one. Close the cover and reinsert the metal key.
