This guide shows how to replace the thermostat on a Mercedes Benz A-Class W168. The component to be replaced is located at the rear of the engine on the right side of the engine bay. First, position a container under the vehicle to catch any leaks during the operation.

Disconnect the two water hoses by releasing the two spring clips and the electrical control connector.

Remove the three bolts securing the thermostat and extract the part. Clean the contact surface of the thermostat with the engine thoroughly before installing the new component.

Tighten the three nuts and reconnect the two hoses and the control cable.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
