Replacing the Auxiliary Battery on the Mercedes GLC

In this video, you will learn how to replace the auxiliary battery on the Mercedes GLC: the module is located under the passenger side mat, but you also need to remove the door seal, which should be done carefully to avoid damaging the rubber clips underneath. You will also find some Torx screws under the glove compartment, from which you need to disconnect the light connector. Once the lower part of the glove compartment is removed, you can also take off the upper part of the mat in the passenger footwell, where you will find three bolts to remove, allowing you to lift a cover. Underneath, you will find the auxiliary battery, more accurately referred to as the "control module." Remove the connecting bolt and the electrical connector. The Mercedes part number is A2059052809, and you can find it on Amazon with the code B07TP29R9B for $34.50, with free shipping for Prime members. Reconnect it first with the connector and then with the bolt, and then replace all covers in reverse order: reinstall the lower part of the glove compartment and then the mat, and the job is complete.
