How to Replace the Steering Wheel Airbag in a Mercedes E-Class?

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the steering wheel airbag in a Mercedes E-Class, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid accidental deployment of the airbag. Start by going inside the cabin, then locate the two holes on either side of the steering column and insert a Torx T25 wrench into them. At this point, release the retaining clips by prying them, remove the airbag from the steering wheel, and disconnect the power connector. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
