Operation: How to replace the steering wheel airbag in the Mercedes E-Class?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the steering wheel airbag in the Mercedes E-Class, an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, in order to avoid the accidental activation of the airbag itself. Let's start by going inside the cabin, then locate the two holes on the sides of the steering column and insert a Torx T25 key into them. At this point, release the fastening clips by levering, remove the airbag from the steering wheel and disconnect the power connector. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
