To replace the seatbelt pretensioner on a Mercedes Vito, loosen the screws that secure the seat to its housing; these screws will be located at the front and rear of the seat. Once these screws are loosened, disconnect the connector at the bottom of the seat so that it can be completely removed. The pretensioner can then be released from its side by unscrewing the screws, and finally, reassemble all the removed components.
