To replace the door lock on the Mercedes C-Class, loosen the screws that secure the panel to its housing: these screws are located under the armrest and at the bottom of the panel. Once the screws are loosened, you can completely detach the panel from its housing and access the underlying components: now you can insert the new lock mechanism after the old one has been freed from the mounting screws and connectors.

At this point, you can cover everything back with the panel, ensuring that everything functions properly.
