How to Remove the Door Lock from a Mercedes C-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013

How to remove the lock mounted in the door of a Mercedes C-Class (left side). Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment. Use a pry tool or screwdriver to remove the cover at the corner of the window. Remove the screws from the door panel and detach the retaining clips; disconnect the power connectors for the window regulator and the tension cable for the door release lever. Remove the panel and disengage it from the door. Peel off the adhesive cover on the door sheet metal and unscrew the door lock with all necessary components (remove the lock and install the new part).
