How to Replace the Steering Lock Module on a Mercedes C-Class?

To replace the steering lock module on a Mercedes C-Class, completely remove the steering wheel from its housing. To do this, loosen the screws that secure it to the steering column, located at the rear of the steering wheel.

This will allow you to remove the airbag from the center by disconnecting the underlying connectors and then loosening the central nut that secures the steering wheel. At this point, you can fully remove the part and proceed to detach the covers of the steering column and instrument cluster to locate the module.

It can now be disconnected and removed, replacing it with a new part.
