How to Replace the Steering Lock on a Mercedes C-Class?

To replace the steering lock on a Mercedes C-Class, loosen the screws that secure the covers around the steering column. Once these are removed, you can unscrew the bolts at the back of the steering wheel to remove the center airbag. Next, loosen the nut on the steering wheel and completely remove it; the steering lock motor will now be visible and can be taken out of its housing, replacing it with the new part. After the replacement, reassemble all the removed parts.
