To remove the dashboard of the Mercedes E-Class, use a tool to pry off the trim that includes the center panel and the passenger side. Once this trim is removed, you can proceed to pull out the air vents from their housing.

Now, unscrew the screws that secure the radio in its place, disconnecting the connectors at the back. Finally, remove the glove compartment by loosening its screws.

All removed parts can then be replaced with new replacement pieces.
