Installing a new armrest on the MG ZS without hiring a professional is possible. The only tool you need is a Phillips screwdriver or a power drill. First, remove the plastic cover at the base of the glove compartment to expose the four screws underneath, which you will unscrew using your screwdriver or power drill. At this point, you can lift and remove the glove compartment and install the armrest support in its place, reattaching the same four screws. Now all that's left is to install the armrest.
