Raise the car on a lift or on suitable car stands. Intercept the drain plug of the oil pan and after having positioned a basin of suitable capacity (about 5 liters), unscrew the plug and drain the used oil. Then open the front hood and intercept the cap of the oil filter container (cartridge filter): it is located in the left front part, located on the side. Then unscrew the cap and extract the old cartridge, replace it with the new one and also replace the cap O-ring supplied with the filter. Screw the cap back on and fill the engine with new oil according to SAE specifications (5W-30) and the quantities indicated in the use and maintenance manual. At this point, manually reset the SERVICE warning light: 1) insert the ignition key and, at the same time as the ignition is switched on, press the reset button for partial km; 2) keep it pressed for about 8sec and after entering the services menu continue to hold it down; 3) as soon as the main screen reappears, immediately release the reset button for partial km and immediately press it again for 5sec 4) at this point the SERVICE menu appears 5) by pressing the button next to the arrow control lever, you can select the various SERVICE (oil-pads front & post-etc etc.) 6) to reset the various SERVICE press and hold the button on the side of the control lever of the arrows until the word RESET appears .... and that's it.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
