How to Replace the Engine Oil Filter in a Mini Cooper?

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the engine oil filter in the Mini Cooper R56, which requires an oil change. First, wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then go underneath the vehicle, locate the drain plug, and using an 8 mm hex key, unscrew it. Drain all the oil from the system, reinsert the plug, and move to the engine bay, where you will temporarily relocate the expansion tank to access the filter housing. Once you open it with a 27 mm socket, you can insert both the replacement filter and the new oil through the designated hole.
