Where is the Oil Filter Located on a Mini Cooper?

In this video, you can see where the oil filter is located on a Mini Cooper, useful if you need to replace the oil. As shown, the filter is situated at the front of the engine bay, just below the coolant expansion tank. To remove it, first ensure the engine is sufficiently cool, then go underneath and unscrew the drain plug bolt. Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, reinsert the bolt, and remove the tank. At this point, simply unscrew the filter housing, insert the replacement along with a new seal, and pour in new oil through the designated hole.
