How to replace the battery of the Mini Cooper F66 remote control

If you want to replace the small battery inside the remote control of your new Mini Cooper F66 by yourself, just follow the steps described in the following guide. Before starting, make sure you have a new CR2032 battery, which is the only compatible battery for the car remote. Then, remove the back cover of the remote control and locate the battery holder. Remove the physical emergency key for convenience and replace the old battery with the new one. Finally, insert the emergency key again and reassemble the protective cover.

Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system.
