How to Remove the Exterior Mirror on a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014

Here’s how to remove the exterior mirror (driver's side) on a Mini. Unscrew the securing screws of the mirror with a screwdriver (outer side), then remove the power connector for the mirror (located inside the previously removed door). Take the mirror with the power cables out of the car door. For reassembly: Refit the mirror with the power cables (connect them) and the securing screws onto the plastic that is fixed to the door panel. Finally, test the correct operation of the mirror.
