How to open the front hood of a Mini Cooper

We open the front hood of the Mini to do the maintenance of the same. Let's see how it opens. We pull the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard, then, slightly raise the engine hood and pull the release lever to the left. We lift the front hood upwards and secure it with the locking rod. Now that we have opened the bonnet we can do our due maintenance. To close the hood again: remove the safety rod and drop the hood downwards from a minimum height. Let's make sure you have closed the hood properly by trying to lift it.
