Replacing Brake Pads

Lift the vehicle and support it on an appropriate car stand; remove the front wheel and then the fastening pins of the brake caliper bracket. Extract the old pads and use a C-clamp to retract the caliper piston: it is not necessary to loosen the brake fluid bleed valve.

Apply the new pads and refit the bracket with the caliper, tightening the fastening pins securely. Repeat the same operation on the other wheel.

Before driving, pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance.
