Where is the service belt located in the Mini Cooper?

First of all, the service belt is not the timing belt and is generally replaced around 100/120 thousand km and it is necessary to evaluate the wear of its components from service to service, always taking a look at the belt tensioner. Maintenance is recommended every 6 months or at least once a year. The service belt has a relatively simple but very important operation, it transforms the motion of the crankshaft transmitting it to all the other services: alternator, air conditioning compressor, power steering pump and in some cases also to the water pump that cools the radiator and motor.
