Today's guide will show you the procedure to remove and replace the timing chain on a Mini Cooper. First, open the bonnet of your car and start by removing the upper plastic engine cover and the intake hose; then, lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel, taking off the serpentine belt and the crankshaft pulley. At this point, unscrew the bolts of the cylinder head cover to remove it, thus accessing the timing chain; take the necessary references for the chain replacement, installing the original one.
