Resetting the service light on a 2013 Mini Countryman, model R56, is a very simple operation that you can perform independently. Start the reset by inserting the key into the ignition and turning on the instrument panel.

Once you check the light, turn off the ignition. With the ignition off, press and hold the button located to the right of the display to access the car's menu.

Once in the menu, scroll using the BC button on the left stalk of the steering wheel to find the "reset" option. Press the button on the stalk to execute the reset.
