How to replace the battery of a Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini F57, F56, F55, F54 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Battery

In this video we can see how to replace the battery of a Mini Cooper: until not long ago it was a simple operation, but now it has become more technical: we have to disconnect the air intake, the air filter drawer that gives us access to a partition in front of the battery. This same partition must then be removed to access the clamp that secures the battery to the car frame. After replacing it, we will also need to reinitialize some components: for example, we will need to inform the engine control unit that the battery has been replaced. This operation must be done through the EOBD port and a diagnostic tool.
