Resetting the Mini's Service indicator light

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016

After changing the engine oil of the Mini Countryman, we need to reset the system that alerts us of the need for maintenance with a warning on the dashboard. Sit in the driver's seat, turn the ignition key to position two, press and hold the small button to the right of the displays inside the tachometer until the service icons to be reset appear on the display. Select the service of interest with the button at the top of the lever to the left of the steering wheel, once selected, press and hold again until the reset request appears, release and press again until the reset is complete, then turn off the ignition.
