How to restore service on the Mini R50

In this video, it is shown how to reset the maintenance light and oil change light on the MINI Cooper R50. This procedure is very quick and takes less than 1 minute to complete. To reset the light, first start the dashboard without starting the engine, by inserting the key into its slot and then pressing the start button without pressing the brake or clutch. Then, press the button on the dashboard for a few seconds to access the menu. When the menu appears, use the button on the side of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll through the various maintenance options until you find the right one. Once you have identified it, hold down the button for a few seconds. The reset will appear on the dashboard, now just wait for the reset to finish while continuing to hold down the button. Once the reset is complete, release the button and restart the dashboard to verify that the procedure has been completed correctly.
