How to carry out maintenance on your Mini? This video tells us how to disassemble an air filter sleeve. We open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front hood, we secure the same. To remove the filter sleeve it is necessary to remove the left headlight. Using a socket wrench with a socket insert, unscrew all the pins around the perimeter of the lighthouse, then remove the lighthouse with the power supply clamp. Let's help ourselves with a crowbar going to leverage the air sleeve in order to extract it from the guide, let's slide it out from both sides. Once this is done, we reassemble the new piece of the air filter at both ends, if we find some broken plastic relay, we do as in the video to reform the pivot house. We reassemble the headlight with the pins and the clamp of the lights.
