Replacing the Car Door Lock Cylinder
Model: Mini Mini
F57, F54, F56, F55
- Years 2014-2023
I will explain how to replace the lock cylinder of your door. Gather a set of plastic trim tools, Torx keys, and hex keys. Start by opening your door. Using the kit mentioned, gently pry the panel towards you. You will hear clips releasing on each side of the panel; carefully remove each trim piece. Next, remove all screws with Torx keys, then extract the window from the window regulator for easier access. Once done, disconnect all connectors present, then remove the remaining screws. Now, remove all seals and finally the door panel. Disconnect the tension cable for the door opening to access the handle and remove it easily. After these steps, remove the lock cylinder using the appropriate hex key; take everything out and replace it with the new part. Reassemble everything in reverse order, and your job will be complete. Now your car will lock perfectly.

How to Remove the Mirror Cap on a Toyota Auris
How to proceed with the removal of the mirror cap on a Toyota Auris? Use a plastic lever to detach the mirror cap and the mirror itself. Pry until the cover comes off the mirror (this operation is very delicate as it may break). Once the piece is removed, take out the side indicator (for replacement), and you can replace it with the new one. Refit the new mirror cover by inserting it into the mirror and securing the plastic with the appropriate clips. Check the correct functioning of the part. by ScegliAuto More videos
