Replacing the battery in a Mini Countryman, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick task. First, ensure that the key is not in the ignition, then open the bonnet, remove the right wiper, and unscrew the relevant bolts to take off the indicated plastic cover.

Next, loosen the nuts on both terminals, disconnect them starting with the negative, and unscrew the bolt of the lower mounting bracket. At this point, you can remove the old battery, insert the replacement, and follow the reverse procedure.
