In this video, see how to remove a radio unit from a Mitsubishi Outlander: you will need a cross screwdriver and a plastic spatula to help remove the unit without scratching anything. Start by loosening the plastic clips found under the trim, which are connected to two electrical connectors. Once the trim is removed, this will expose the four screws that secure the unit to the vehicle; after removing these, disconnect the electrical plugs behind the unit: it will not be difficult to reconnect them as they fit in a specific place. At this point, the unit is ready to be sent to the repair centre.
