Learn how to remove the starter motor on a Mitsubishi 300 GT. Open the car's bonnet and secure it. First, use a socket wrench to disconnect the battery power cables. Lift the car with a jack or a column lift, then unscrew the fastening pins of the starter motor with a socket wrench.

Disconnect the starter motor power connectors using pliers or a screwdriver, depending on the pressure of the tabs. Remove the part from its housing and take it out of the engine bay. Finally, install the new starter motor, connecting the power cables and securing it with the necessary screws.
