Guide to disassembling the cylinder head of the Mitsubishi L200 2.5 TDi

Today's guide will illustrate the main steps useful for disassembling and replacing the cylinder head of the Mitsubishi L200 2.5 TDi engine. First, we open the hood of the vehicle and start disconnecting all the wiring we find on the top, disconnecting the fuel lines and various connectors; we remove the distribution cover and disconnect its belt, as shown in the video. Once the valve cover is removed, it will be possible to unscrew the cylinder head bolts, in order to remove it; we can then repair it or replace it with a new one.
