EuroNCap test results for the Mitsubishi Space Star

In this video we can see the results of the EuroNCap test of the Mitsubishi Space Star/Mirage. The overall rating is 3 out of 5 stars. Adult protection is decent, but with a high risk for chest and leg injuries in frontal crashes. Child seat protection is good, but rear ISOFIX attachments are missing as standard on all versions. For pedestrians, poor impact absorption on the hood and rigid bumpers; lack of advanced driver assistance systems. The cabin is fragile in side impacts; no standard active safety system; rear airbags absent. The Space Star has not been tested by EuroNCap since 2017, and Mitsubishi discontinued production in Europe in 2021.
