How to Replace the Number Plate Bulb on a Mitsubishi ASX

How do you replace the damaged number plate bulb on a Mitsubishi ASX? Use a screwdriver or plastic trim tool to remove the number plate light located in the rear bumper of the car. Once the light unit is removed, extract the bulb holder by hand, then disconnect the bulb from it. Fit the new/LED bulb (same size and voltage) into the bulb holder. Refit the light unit into the bodywork of the tailgate, pressing until the clips lock automatically. Test the correct operation of the previously fitted bulb.
