Differential oil replacement on a Mitsubishi Outlander? Let’s see how to replace it. Lift the car with a jack. To change the differential oil, unscrew the bolt located underneath it with a socket wrench as shown in the video. Once the bolt is unscrewed, let the fluid drain into a container for disposal. After draining, screw the bolt back under the differential sump, then top up with the appropriate fluid (unscrew the bolt on the side of the oil sump). Lower the car to the ground after replacement. Test the correct operation of the differential.
