Removing the alternator on a Mitsubishi Outlander? Let’s see how to do it from inside the vehicle. Lift the car with a jack. To remove the alternator, unscrew the bolts located underneath it with a socket wrench. Once the bolts are unscrewed, detach the alternator belt. After removal, pull the alternator out of its housing. Fit a new alternator in the vehicle, screw in the bolts, and secure the drive belt (connect the power supply). Lower the car to the ground after replacement. Test the correct operation of the vehicle with the ignition.
