How to Change the Key Remote Battery of a Mitsubishi Outlander

Replacing the battery of the key remote for a Mitsubishi Outlander is a very simple and quick task. You will only need a small flathead screwdriver and the new battery, the correct model being a flat CR 2032 battery rated at 3V. Take the key remote and pull the lever located on the back of the casing, near the car logo, which will allow you to extract the metal key from the remote. At this point, take the screwdriver and insert the tip into the upper edge of the casing (short side) and lever it open. Proceed to remove the old battery and replace it with the new one.
