Mitsubishi Outlander - Video tutorial

Model: Mitsubishi Outlander MK 2 - Years 2007-2012
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: Replacement of front shock absorbers

To replace the front shock absorbers it is first of all essential to have the appropriate clamps to crush the springs; therefore lift the car on the lift and remove the front wheel, release the shock absorber from the cable glands and unscrew the relative fixing pins to the hub support; lower the car to access the engine compartment and unscrew the nuts fixing the shock absorber support to the bodywork dome and be able to extract it; apply the clamps to the spring and squeeze it just enough to disassemble the support from the stem and remove the bellows; then apply the bellows, spring and support to the new shock absorber and proceed in reverse for installation on board the car.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
