To reset the trip odometer on a Nissan Kicks, turn on the instrument cluster by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch: once it is on, you can use the button located to the right of the cluster. This button must be held down to reset the trip odometer; when the reset is complete, you can release the button.

After the reset, turn off the instrument cluster by turning the key.
