Checking and topping up engine oil on the Nissan Juke

In this video, you can see how to check and then top up the oil in your Nissan Juke. The warning light alerts us that the oil level has dropped. There may not be any fault: as in this case, it is just because we have covered many miles.

However, we need to top it up as soon as possible. So, with the engine off, open the bonnet and remove the dipstick, which is located just under the engine block.

Wipe it with a cloth, reinsert the dipstick into its housing, and repeat the process. Now you can read the oil level, which is indeed quite low. Go to the filler cap located on the opposite side of the engine block and top up the oil, half a litre at a time - to avoid overfilling - with high-quality synthetic oil SAE 0W40. Check the dipstick again and see if the instrument cluster still gives us a warning.

It now says "oil good". Task completed.
