Removal of Car Radio and Centre Console

Model: Nissan Pathfinder MK 3, R51 - Years 2005-2012

The first step is to remove the plastic cover of the glove compartment located on the centre tunnel, just behind the gear lever: simply pull and detach it.
Next, use a plastic lever to detach the cover of the centre console (if necessary, move the gear lever to facilitate the extraction process) disconnecting the connectors attached to the controls present.
At this point, detach the plastic glove compartment located in the centre of the dashboard, just above the car radio, and remove the securing screws present.
Then detach the central part of the console (the part around the car radio that contains the two side air vents and the climate control buttons) and rest it on the centre tunnel (protecting it with a cloth).
Now unscrew the 4 securing screws of the car radio support and extract it from its housing.
