How to change a car battery

In this video, we see how to change the battery of a car. We notice that the dashboard is flashing in a strange way: it is definitely the battery that is giving out, so we open the hood and identify the battery, which in this case is located on the right (looking at the car from the front). The battery has a negative pole in black and a positive pole in red. We should always disconnect the negative pole first, which is connected with a 10 bolt. Very often, batteries have a bracket - as in this case - to connect them to the frame, so they do not move from their housing. It must therefore be unscrewed to remove it. We then remove the cover and can remove the battery from its housing. We replace the battery with one of equal power and characteristics: we put back the cover and secure the bracket, then connect the positive terminal by reconnecting the bolt and finally the negative terminal, and we can close the hood.
