First, remove the physical key from its casing, then use the spatula to pry open the remote's housing. Once opened, you will see the battery in the centre (it is a common CR2032 that you can easily obtain) and pay attention to the polarity; otherwise, after closing it, it will not work. Now, refit the other half by applying moderate pressure. Reinsert the physical key, and the operation is complete.
