When the battery key on Nissan vehicles stops working, it means that the battery needs to be replaced. To replace the battery, start by pressing the button on the back of the remote control cover to remove the emergency metal key. Then, insert a flat-head screwdriver into the right inner part of the remote control to pry it open and remove the battery. Finally, insert the new battery to close the remote control and insert the key. Go near the vehicle to test its functionality.
