How to replace the key fob battery on a Nissan? Follow these steps: Take your ignition key and remove the key blade from inside; use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic halves until they separate; remove the flat battery and fit a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the key fob cover until you hear them click into place. Insert the key blade back into the fob. Check the proper functioning of the key fob by testing the door lock and unlock buttons.
