We can see in this video how to disable the passenger airbag on a Nissan Micra IV: This operation is necessary if we need to place a very young child's car seat on the front seat, as a possible deployment of the airbag could be fatal. Enabling and disabling the airbag on this car is very simple: we need to open the glove compartment, and on the top right we have the lock, where we need to insert the car ignition key. Following the instructions printed on the lock itself, we can activate or deactivate the airbag, just by turning the key. However, remember to reactivate the component when the child has exited the car.
