Nissan Micra - Video tutorial
Model: Nissan Micra
K12
- Years 2002-2010 Here is a general guide on how to remove the steering wheel cover in the Nissan Micra. Keep in mind that specific details may vary between different models and production years of the Micra, so make sure to consult the owner's manual or seek help from a qualified mechanic for further information. Make sure the car is turned off and the battery is disconnected to avoid the risk of accidental airbag activation. Position the front wheels straight to facilitate access to the steering wheel. Look for the mounting bolts on the back of the steering wheel. They may be covered by small plastic caps or seals. Using a screwdriver or appropriate key, remove the mounting bolts holding the steering wheel cover in place. Make sure to keep them in a safe place for reassembly later. Once the mounting bolts are removed, the steering wheel cover should be loosened. However, it may still be hooked by clips or hooks on the inside. Carefully use a flat tool like a screwdriver to unhook the clips or hooks holding the cover in place. Be careful not to damage the cover or other parts of the steering wheel during this operation. Once all fastening points are unhooked, you can remove the steering wheel cover. Pay attention to any wiring or electrical connections that may be attached to the cover. Disconnect them carefully, if present, being careful not to damage the connectors.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHandbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
