How to install an armrest on a car or van

Model: Nissan Nv200 MK 1 - Years 2009-2024

In this video we can see how to install an armrest on a car or van. We remove the lower plastic attachment, unlock the two clips on the metal structure and push the fabric from the back to the front. We look for the two holes with the corrugated metal between them (be careful to identify the right holes!). With a strap, we hold the foam and fabric up, then attach the metal support with the provided bolts, then tighten well with a 12mm Allen key; we drill a hole in the foam to pass the support through; we reassemble the fabric and cut an "X" to allow the metal to come out. We align the armrest on the support, use the strap again to position it correctly, screw and tighten with the appropriate key, install the plastic cap and reassemble the entire compartment. We must not rush, it is a precision job.
