In this guide, we will see the main instructions on how to disassemble and replace the electric power steering column of the Nissan Micra. First, let's get inside the cabin and start by removing the steering wheel airbag, disconnecting the electrical connector, then unscrewing the central screw with a socket wrench to remove the steering wheel, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the plastic cover and the steering angle sensor, disconnecting the electrical wiring; then we unscrew the screws of the steering column, grinding down the rivets with a drill bit to remove the electric power steering column.
