In this video, we can see a Nissan Murano with a problem that can happen to anyone: the brake lights stay constantly on, whether you are actually braking or not. This can be very dangerous, especially during long highway trips; but it is also a defect that can sometimes be difficult to diagnose, or lead to replacing a number of unnecessary parts, resulting in unnecessary expenses. In most cases, it is a problem that can be easily resolved, as it often involves a broken cable pass-through. What we do is go under the pedal, ask an assistant to check from the back of the vehicle while we press the brake switch: we will place a cable pass-through in the same spot where the brake pedal switch is located, so that when the brakes are pressed, the lights turn on and off normally, and it works!

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
