How to Bleed the Diesel Filter on a Nissan Qashqai J10

The operation of bleeding the diesel filter should be performed when replacing the filter itself; to do this, open the bonnet, and on the left side, you will find the filter in a clearly visible position. Disconnect the diesel pipes (both the intake and delivery), unscrew the fixing nuts of the metal cage and pull it out. Using a 10mm spanner, you can unscrew the retaining clamp of the filter and remove it. Once the filter is replaced with a new one, reconnect the diesel pipes and retrace the same steps in sequence to secure the metal cage in place. To bleed it, proceed as follows: on the side of the filter, you will find a black valve, open it, operate the pump to circulate the diesel, and as soon as it flows out of the valve, you can close it (the air will have completely exited the filter).
